At İMG Yapı Yalıtım Mühendislik A.Ş., this information notice has been prepared to inform you about the processing of your personal data pursuant to Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to Be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.

- Professional experience data: Nature of the building project and technical details (within the scope of the building information form)
3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Receiving, assessing and responding to enquiries relating to waterproofing and structural engineering services
- Carrying out site survey, technical inspection and project quotation processes
- Establishing, managing and performing the contractual relationship
- Managing customer service and technical support processes
- Providing information, updates and reminders regarding our services
- Fulfilling legal and administrative obligations (tax, accounting, commercial legislation, etc.)
- Responding to information and document requests from authorised public institutions and organisations
- Ensuring the security of the website and preventing misuse
- Carrying out analyses aimed at measuring and improving service quality
4. Parties to Whom Personal Data May Be Transferred and the Purpose of Transfer
Your personal data may be transferred to the following parties for the following purposes:
- Authorised public institutions and organisations: To the Ministry of Finance, the Social Security Institution, courts and other public authorities, for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations and responding to authorised requests
- Business partners and suppliers: To supplier companies providing support services required in the course of service delivery, subject to confidentiality and data security obligations
- E-mail and infrastructure service providers: To service providers, for the purpose of sharing limited technical data within the scope of the communication infrastructure
Your personal data is not shared with third parties other than in the cases set out above. Transfers are carried out within the framework of the legal safeguards provided by Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.
5. Method of Collecting Personal Data and Its Legal Basis
Your personal data is collected by the following means:
- Electronically, via the contact form and the building information form on our website
- Through telephone calls and e-mail correspondence
- Physically, in the course of face-to-face meetings and contract processes
- Automatically during website visits (via cookies and log systems)
The processing of this data is based on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK:
- Processing being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c)
- Processing being necessary for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç)
- Processing being necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject (Art. 5/2-f)
- The explicit consent of the data subject (Art. 5/1) — only for operations that require consent
6. Personal Data Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for the period required by the purpose of processing and for the retention periods prescribed by the relevant legislation. In general, these periods are as follows:
- Contact and enquiry details: 3 years
- Data based on a contractual relationship: 10 years from the end date of the contract
- Accounting and invoice records: 5 years (Tax Procedure Law, Art. 253)
- Website access logs: 2 years (Law No. 5651)
Personal data whose retention period has expired is deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with our Personal Data Retention and Destruction Policy.
7. Rights of the Data Subject (Article 11 of the KVKK)
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- The right to learn whether your personal data is being processed
- The right to request information if your personal data has been processed
- The right to learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is being used in accordance with that purpose
- The right to know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, whether in Türkiye or abroad
- The right to request the rectification of your personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurate
- The right to request the deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK
- The right to request that rectification and deletion operations be notified to the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred
- The right to object to a result arising to your detriment through the analysis of the processed data exclusively by automated systems
- The right to claim compensation for damages if you suffer loss as a result of the unlawful processing of your personal data
8. Right to Apply and Application Method
To exercise the rights set out above, you may apply to our company by the following means:
- By e-mail: a written application to kvkk@imgmuhendislik.com.tr, together with a document verifying your identity
- By post: a petition bearing a handwritten (wet-ink) signature, with a copy of your ID enclosed, sent to Aydınevler Mah. Kırçiçeği Cad. No:25/F, Maltepe / İSTANBUL
Your application must clearly state your name and surname, your Turkish ID number (or passport number or identity number for foreign nationals), your address for service and the subject of your request. Your application will be concluded free of charge within thirty (30) days at the latest. However, if the operation requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
