2 Villas – Basement Waterproofing Application In the basements of two villas, PU resin injection and crystalline waterproofing applications were carried out to prevent water ingress into the structure and to remedy existing water leaks. Within the scope of the works, hydro-reactive PU resin injection was applied to the cracks, cold joints and water leakage points identified in the reinforced concrete structural elements, based on appropriate pressure and consumption values, thereby stopping active water flows and filling the voids. Following the injection works, surface preparation was carried out and a cement-based crystalline waterproofing system was applied to the reinforced concrete surfaces of the basement. Thanks to the crystalline structure, the aim was to penetrate the capillary pores of the concrete to increase water impermeability and strengthen resistance against negative-side (internal) water pressure. The application was completed through the stages of surface preparation, inspection of crack and joint details, injection works, and the formation of the crystalline waterproofing layers. •Correct detailing •Controlled application •Seamless waterproofing
